A double-decker bus has crashed into a building in west London causing major traffic disruption.

Outside Hayes & Harlington railway station in Hillingdon, emergency services have surrounded a bus which looks to have veered into a building.

The H90 to Hounslow can be seen facing sideways, with the front of it having made contact with a wall.

Police and fire fighters attended the scene on Station Road, with crowds gathering around the crash.

The bus appears to have crashed into the wall of Trident House, an apartment bock next to Hayes & Harlington station.

It is not yet known if there were any casualties during the incident.

Transport for London (TfL) advised on their website for travellers to “use alternative routes” in the area due to a “serious” incident.

It writes: “Station Road is closed between North Hyde Road and Clayton Road in both directions. There are east and westbound delays on North Hyde Road.
