Cruz Beckham has made another apparent gesture of reconciliation towards his older brother Brooklyn, sharing a nostalgic childhood photograph on his Instagram Story.

The image showed the 21-year-old musician alongside Brooklyn and their sibling Romeo, all three boys beaming at the camera whilst dressed in coordinating white shirts and denim.

No caption accompanied the post, though the throwback clearly served as a reminder of happier times for the Beckham brothers.

The social media moment arrives as tensions between Brooklyn, 27, and the rest of his family continue following his explosive public statement earlier this year.

Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz have maintained their distance from the Beckham clan since January, when he made damaging allegations against his parents.

In his January statement, Brooklyn accused Victoria and David Beckham of treating Nicola Peltz poorly from the moment she became part of the family, and claimed they attempted to sabotage his wedding.

“My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we’ve tried to come together as one,” he wrote.

Brooklyn alleged he had faced “endless attacks” from his parents, both in private and through stories planted with the press.

He also claimed his brothers had been deployed to criticise him on social media before blocking him without warning last summer.

“The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life,” Brooklyn stated.

Despite the acrimony, Cruz has repeatedly attempted to bridge the divide with his estranged sibling since the January fallout.

The following month, he posted another childhood image showing himself, Brooklyn and Romeo in an embrace.

When Brooklyn’s birthday came around in March, Cruz shared a photograph of his older brother cradling him as an infant, accompanied by the words “I love you” and a celebratory emoji.

Questioned by photographers that same month about whether reconciliation was possible, Cruz offered a simple response: “I hope so.”

Prior to Brooklyn’s statement, Cruz had defended his parents against claims they had blocked their eldest son, insisting on social media that Victoria and David would never unfollow their child and that they had in fact woken up to find themselves blocked.

Victoria Beckham broke her silence on the family situation during an April interview with Today with Jenna & Sheinelle.

Asked by Jenna Bush Hager how she and David navigated challenging periods, the fashion designer emphasised their unity.

“Myself and David, we’re so close, and we have incredible people around us,” she said.

Victoria highlighted the support network surrounding the couple, including both sets of grandparents.

“We always put our children first. We love our children so much and have always really focused on protecting our children. But we laugh a lot. David Beckham is really, super funny,” she added.

The former Spice Girl noted that she and David had evolved together throughout their relationship, helping each other become their best selves.
