Saturday’s FA Cup second-round tie between League Two Crewe Alexandra and League One Bristol Rovers has been postponed because of a frozen pitch.
The playing surface failed an inspection at 13:15 GMT on Friday.
It has now been rearranged for Tuesday, 12 December, with any potential replay to be held one week later.
Temperatures were expected to drop to as low as -10C (14F) in parts of the UK on Friday night with snow also forecast as the current cold snap continues.
The postponement means new Bristol Rovers boss Matt Taylor, appointed earlier on Friday, will have to wait until Tuesday’s EFL Trophy game at Crawley to take charge for the first time.
Five games in the National League have also been postponed because of frozen pitches, with the fixtures between AFC Fylde and Hartlepool United, FC Halifax Town against Solihull Moors and Southend United versus Wealdstone all called off on Saturday morning.
Altrincham against Dorking Wanderers and Gateshead’s trip to Woking were both called off on Friday.
New dates for all those games have not yet been arranged.
The FA Cup tie between Blackpool and Forest Green Rovers has also been postponed because of a Football Association investigation into League Two Rovers.
