Katherine Kelly has opened up on how she bonded with her co-star Eve Myles while filming upcoming series The Crow Girl together.
The actress, 45, stars in the Paramount+ thriller as psychotherapist Dr Sophia Craven, while Eve plays detective Jeanette Kilburn.
The Crow Girl is adapted from the Erik Axl Sund novel of the same name and follows Jeanette as she investigates the murders of a slew of young men across Bristol, found beaten and injected with Lidocaine.
She soon is forced to team up with Sophia, the therapist of her prime suspect, to help hunt down the dangerous serial killer.
Discussing the series, Katherine explained she and Eve bonded over both having to juggle motherhood with being ‘workaholics’.
She shares daughters Orla, 10, and Rose, eight, with her ex-husband Ryan Clark, while Eve is mum to three daughters with her husband Bradley Freegard.

Speaking to The Mirror, Katherine said: ‘We’re at a similar stage in our lives. We adore our jobs, but we adore being mothers as well and we don’t want to miss any of that. We admit that we’re both workaholics – and I mean that in the most positive way. We do what we love for a living.’
The Coronation Street star revealed she had to relocate from her home in Barnsley to shoot the series in Bristol, but insisted that she found this made it easier to balance her work and home life.
She said: ‘I’ve found that I’ve had to work away from home a lot since Covid, so the minute I leave the house, I just immerse myself in work really.
‘I’m quite all or nothing and I find it hard to not keep going because I’m not going to my family home at night. It’s like an exam – there’s never a point where you feel you’re finished. Then the minute I walk through the door, I’m completely free to be at home.’
Katherine and her digital analyst ex-husband Ryan made the ‘difficult’ decision to go their separate ways in April 2020.
The former couple had been married for seven years, after tying the knot in Las Vegas in 2013.
A spokesman said at the time: ‘Katherine and Ryan have made the difficult decision to separate. They see it as a positive move for both of them and the separation is completely amicable.
‘Their children are their top priority and they will continue to co-parent as good friends.’

‘At the Dancing With Heroes ball Kelly couldn’t keep her hands off Tony and was stroking the back of his head all evening.
‘They have met one another’s families and went on holiday together with their respective children earlier this year. Katherine is incredibly happy with Tony and it’s clear they are a really good match.’
