Camilla Tominey has left fans emotional after sharing a rare glimpse into her family life, admitting one heartfelt note from her youngest child made her realise “how much I will miss it when it’s gone”.
The GB News presenter took to Instagram to post a carousel of photographs capturing what she described as the “mundane yet meaningful markers of family life”.
Among the images was a handwritten note, taped to a wooden door, which simply read: “goodnight mummy and daddy” in a child’s handwriting.
The remaining photographs showed everyday scenes from around the family home, including a towel left on the floor, muddy shoes tucked beneath a cabinet, clutter spread across a worktop and a water bottle abandoned beside the kitchen sink.

Reflecting on the collection of images, Camilla wrote: “My youngest left this note last night, and it made me realise how much I will miss it when it’s gone.
“I’ve taken #fivepicsofparenthood so I don’t forget these mundane yet meaningful markers of family life!”
The touching post resonated with parents, who flooded the comments section with messages about how quickly children grow up.
One follower wrote: “With children, the days are long but the years are short!”

Another shared: “My kid is a teenager now. She went from being a cuddly little girl who loved a duvet day with a movie and a takeaway, to being fiercely independent and eye-rolly teen in the matter of minutes it seems like… and sadly, there was a day that I picked her up and cuddled her… Then put her down and I haven’t picked her up since…”
A third recalled an emotional family holiday, writing: “Just away with our 16-year-old (our oldest refused to join us). On the plane he accidentally fell asleep on my shoulder so I breathed him in, like some kind of stalker, thinking ‘gotta make the most of this moment!'”
Others urged the broadcaster to treasure the memories.
“I still have all mine from my kids and they just turned 35 and 30!!!! These are too precious not to keep!!!” one person commented.
Another simply wrote: “Lovely. Cherish as much as you can.”
Camilla, who presents The Camilla Tominey Show on GB News every Sunday, is married to Dominic Lincoln and the couple have three children: daughters Annabel and Lara, and son Harry.
Away from television, the journalist has often spoken candidly about parenthood, drawing on her own experiences in columns for The Telegraph.
In one article, she discussed her concerns about encouraging her son Harry to develop a love of reading in an age dominated by smartphones and social media.
Camilla has also written about raising teenagers, setting boundaries around technology and creating a stable family environment, having previously revealed she chose to remain a teetotaller after becoming a mother because of her own childhood experiences with an alcoholic parent.

Furthermore, the popular broadcaster has previously revealed she gave up alcohol after the birth of her first child in 2008, saying she wanted to break the cycle after growing up with an alcoholic mother.
She has also argued that parents should provide “love with leadership” rather than trying to be their children’s best friends and described motherhood as her greatest achievement, writing that “there is no career ladder I can climb… that will beat being a mum”.
