Police have arrested nine people after fireworks were fired buses, police officers and pedestrians in Birmingham.
The shocking incidents saw Birmingham described as a “warzone” last night with dozens of fireworks set off in quick succession.
Footage shows a packed double decker bus before the videos pans to someone shooting fireworks in its direction.
Another video showed a group of people dressed in black, with their hoods up and faces concealed by masks as more fireworks were fired, according to The Sun.
Police then turned up and officers raced towards the alleged offenders.
West Midlands Police said “pockets of disorder” were reported from 9pm near New Street, close to the city’s main train station on Friday.
About 2.15am on Saturday, further fireworks were launched towards buildings, police on Bagot Street.
Among people arrested were teenagers and adults between 13 and 23.

“We arrested nine people after tackling unacceptable disorder where fireworks were launched in Birmingham City centre,” the force said.
“We took strong action following a number of incidents where fireworks were setoff last night and into this morning.
“From around 9pm there were pockets of disorder where some were thrown dangerously near New Street.
“Then at around 2.15am there were fireworks launched by a group towards buildings, police officers and each other in Bagot Street.”

Police added: “Thankfully, no-one was injured as a result of a firework being thrown”.
“We detained nine people – aged between 13 and 23 – in connection with public order, throwing fireworks and possession of an offensive weapon,” the force said.
“We won’t tolerate such appalling actions and we’ll continue to have a visible police presence in and around the city centre. We also have a dispersal order in place.”
The police said it wanted to “be clear; anyone who is involved in such irresponsible behaviour risks being arrested and prosecuted”.
“We’re focused on ensuring the city centre remains a safe place for residents, visitors and those who work in the area,” it added.
