The Princess of Wales selected a smart-casual tailored ensemble in shades of green and white at the Commonwealth Games today, coming to a total of £5,500.

Catherine and Prince William attended the ninth day of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games on August 1, alongside their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

The future queen wore the Ralph Lauren Collection Camden double-breasted cashmere jacket in deep green.

This tailored garment features a double-breasted silhouette accented with metallic buttons, peak lapels, and flap pockets.

The cashmere blazer carries a retail price of £3,100.

Beneath the tailored jacket, Catherine wore a black and white striped top, the designer of which currently remains to be determined.

This was paired with a white pleated midi skirt that the princess has worn on prior occasions, though the specific designer has never been identified.

The Princess of Wales accessorised her daytime attire with a selection of high-end pieces from British designers.

She carried the Neeson Small Square Tote Bag by London-based designer Anya Hindmarch.

Constructed from chalk-coloured capra leather, this intricately woven compact tote bag retails for £950.

Her jewellery consisted of Kiki McDonough 18-carat yellow gold mini diamond hoop earrings, which are available for £1,000.

Suspended from these hoops were the 18-carat gold Baroque Pearl Earring Drops by British fine jeweller Annoushka, which retail for £450.

The Waleses were seated in the spectator stands at The Hydro arena in Glasgow to watch the women’s netball semi-final match between Team Australia and Team Jamaica.

This engagement marked a notable milestone for the young royals, as it constituted the first time Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis undertook an official public engagement together in Scotland.

The unannounced arrival of the three children follows Kensington Palace’s earlier confirmation that the Prince and Princess of Wales, who are formally titled the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay while carrying out duties in Scotland, would be attending the penultimate day of the international sporting event.

The family observed the high-stakes match in the packed 5,000-seat venue. The appearance at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games is specifically significant for eight-year-old Prince Louis.

It represents his inaugural attendance at a major international sporting fixture, contrasting with his older siblings, who have previously accompanied their parents to prominent tournaments including the Uefa European Championship and the Wimbledon tennis championships.

Today’s engagement continues the Royal Family’s established presence at the 2026 Games.

Throughout the previous eight days of the competition, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and the Princess Royal have conducted official visits to various sporting venues across Glasgow.

Following the conclusion of the netball semi-final at The Hydro, the Prince and Princess of Wales are scheduled to carry out further engagements.

This includes a planned meeting with Team Wales athletes, their support staff, and their relatives, before the Games officially conclude tomorrow.
