Cardi B shared her reaction to Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris trailing behind Republican nominee Donald Trump in the 2024 US election results.
The WAP rapper, 32, posted then quickly deleted a video on Tuesday, telling her followers, ‘this is why some of y’all states be getting hurricanes.’
‘That’s all I’m gonna say,’ she added in the clip, which was deleted minutes after being shared on X. Cardi used a face-distorting filter, disguising herself with a large forehead and a goatee.
Her post came after the Associated Press called races in Florida, Louisiana, Texas and North Carolina — states that have been affected by hurricanes — in favor of Trump.
Cardi — who recently unleashed an expletive-laden rant over criticism for bungling speech at Kamala rally — also took to X with a simple message, writing, ‘We need a Hail Mary.’

A ‘Hail Mary’ is a term used in American football describing a last-ditch effort to achieve a win, often with little hope of success.
Her message came as Trump secured a win in the critical swing state of North Carolina.
In a major boost to the Republican, it was the first of the seven swing states that will ultimately determine the winner.
The result has seen Trump soar to an all-time high in the betting markets with his chances of reaching the required 270 Electoral College votes passing 90 per cent.
And it prompted ‘silence’ among Team Harris as their hopes now rest on pulling off victories in a number of close contests.
The day prior, Cardi ranted over the complaints about her speech at a rally for Vice President Harris.
Cardi has faced backlash for her use of a cellphone to read a speech at a packed event in Milwaukee on Friday, after standing silently for a minute when the teleprompter glitched.
But in an emotional video posted to TikTok, the Grammy-winning artist slammed those who criticized her, after previously hitting out at Elon Musk for calling her a puppet ‘who can’t even talk without being fed the words.’
‘I worked so hard, bro. I worked so hard on my speech and a lot of y’all talkin’ about like “Oh why are you reading it from your phone?”‘ Cardi B said in her video to her haters.
‘B****, I had to write that s*** down.’

She went on to note that she has three children, and started to talk about how she sometimes rehearses in the shower what she would tell people when she sees them.
‘And you know what, I forget what I be telling,’ the rapper said. ‘I’ll be like d*** I was in the f***ing shower for 30 minutes. But you know what, then when I be face-to-face, I be forgetting.
‘So you know, when it comes to this s*** right here, Iet you know what I’ve been wanting to say, but I had to make sure I ain’t forget, so I wrote that s*** the f*** down.’
She went on to tell her followers they would still hear why the singer supports the vice president for the nation’s highest office.
‘Y’all gonna hear what the f*** I had to say and I’m proud of myself,’ she said, telling her followers in a follow-up video that she has ‘gotta give myself more kudos cause sometimes I’m a little hard on myself.’
‘But like yo, I really did that s***. Like a b*** was really stripping on poles and all, and I’m here.’
She went on to say that after meeting Harris, she realized ‘like yo, she means f***ing business, she[‘s] a f***ing boss.
‘And she’s really determined to win this s***,’ Cardi B said.
‘She’s moving like she gotta prove a point. Once a woman feel like she gotta prove a point, we’re gonna f***ing step on it, and that’s how she was acting.’
The singer claimed Harris told her she would not take ‘no’ for an answer, and revealed that when President Joe Biden was running against former President Donald Trump she was not going to vote for either candidate.
‘But Kamala, b****, you changed my mind and you said something that made me change my mind – because a lot of people was acting blind to the s*** that was happening in the Middle East. And she addressed it.
She also pushed back against Elon Musk, 56, after the billionaire criticized her for reading from her cell phone
Musk, who is a supporter of Trump, wrote on X, ‘Another puppet who can’t even talk without being fed the words. The Kamala campaign has no authenticity or true empathy’
‘I’m not a puppet Elon,’ Cardi hit back, adding she was ‘the daughter of two immigrant parents that had to work their a** off to provide’
The singer wrote on Instagram said she felt speaking at the Milwaukee rally ‘was a moment I feel like I’ve been waiting for my whole life… I’m so glad that I got to meet and learn so much from VP Kamala Harris’ (Pictured in Milwaukee, WI on November 1)
‘She was like, “Yeah, I see it, I see it and I’mma fix it. If I could fix it, I’mma fix it. If I can’t fix it, I don’t know what to tell you cause at the end of the day, I don’t run that country. But if it was up to me, I’ll fix it.”‘
‘You know what? I f*** with you,’ the rapper said of the vice president. ‘I f*** with her because she a real b****. She’s not acting like she don’t see it.’
Cardi B also hit out at those who have criticized Harris for not acting under the Biden administration.
‘Y’all need to understand she was waiting for her turn. She was studying, she couldn’t do much, but now she finna do it.
‘And she promised me, and she looked at me in my eye like a gangster. She was like, “Watch, I’m gonna change this s*** the f*** up, I promise you.”‘
‘I was like, “Oh yo, she’s a little gangster,”‘ the rapper recounted. ‘And I believe in her.’
