Camilla Tominey has shared a snap reaction to her bombshell interview with Peter Kyle on Sir Keir Starmer’s future.

In the tense exchange, the Business Secretary and ally of the Prime Minister refused to deny that he will resign on Monday.

The GB News host grilled Mr Kyle on whether Sir Keir would step down amid intense speculation that he is set to announce his departure on Monday.

“Peter Kyle couldn’t answer it like that because he doesn’t want to shaft his friend and ally. Tricky.

“What I thought was interesting about the interview, as well, is that the narrative is turning into one of sympathy.

“What we heard from Peter Kyle today is a pitch rolling of a potential appearance by Keir Starmer in Downing Street, saying it’s over tomorrow, but also this idea that we must have sympathy for a man, a decent man who tried his best,” Camilla said.
