Brooklyn Beckham has returned to Instagram for the first time since his father, Sir David Beckham, was knighted by the King last week.

The global cultural icon received his knighthood at Windsor Castle on November 4, 2025, for his contributions to sport and charity.

Most of the family attended the royal ceremony, including his children Romeo, Cruz and Harper, along with his wife Lady Victoria and Sir David’s parents.

However, eldest son Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, were notably absent from the prestigious event, further igniting rumours of a feud within the Beckham family.

On Monday evening, the budding chef posted a video on Instagram for the first time since his dad was knighted, but rather than acknowledge the historic family event, the update centred on Brooklyn’s hot sauce brand, Cloud 23.

The caption alongside the video read: “The secret sauce? Not so secret anymore. Just @cloud23 Sweet Jalapeño & @toom Garlic Dip for flavour heaven.”

While Brooklyn happily promoted his business, the responses in the comments section were far from enthusiastic, as fans called him out for skipping his father’s big day and failing to mention it online.

“No one cares mate, you going to say well done to your dad?” one follower asked. Another added: “Lol, the amount of people pointing out that you missed your dad’s knighthood ceremony was not what you aimed for with this video.”

“Why didn’t you attend your dad’s knighthood?” one viewer commented, while another warned: “No one is more important than your family in your life. You’re gonna regret disconnecting from them!”

Some, however, defended the 26-year-old. “Folks, he’s making a smash burger and trying to find joy through sharing his cooking. He’s not asking your advice and you’re not a family guidance counsellor,” one user wrote.

Another supporter argued: “The public would complain if Brooklyn didn’t have a job ‘sponging off his parents’. You’d also complain if he publicly spoke about private matters. Here he is trying to promote his Cloud23 products and make a living drama-free, but you all have to bring it back to family business.”

“Keep being you,” one fan simply insisted. (sic)

Meanwhile, Sir David’s other children publicly celebrated their father’s new title.

Shortly after the ceremony, Romeo and Cruz both took to social media to mark the occasion, sharing photos and videos from Windsor Castle.

Romeo, 23, posted a family photograph featuring himself, Cruz, Harper and their parents, writing: “No one deserves this more than you, love you so much xxx. Congrats Sir dad.” (sic)

Following the ceremony, friends of Sir David reportedly booked out a tent behind a Cotswolds pub to celebrate his new honour.

Cruz, 20, performed a song he had written specially for the event, which included the line: “King Charles came to David Beckham and knighted him, my man.”

As of yet, Nicola Peltz-Beckham has not commented publicly on the ceremony either.

Sir David’s wife, Lady Victoria, 51, joined her husband at Windsor Castle to watch his investiture with the King last Tuesday and said: “I’ve never felt prouder than I do today.”

After the ceremony, the former Spice Girl posted online: “David, from the moment I met you 28 years ago, you’ve always been so proud to represent your country.

“Whether on or off the pitch, no one loves England or respects our Royal Family more, so to see you honoured by The King today is something I’ll forever cherish.

“You’ve achieved so much, and yet you’re still the same kind, humble, hardworking man I met nearly 30 years ago, as well as the most amazing husband and father.

“I’ve never felt prouder than I do today. Sir @davidbeckham, we all love you so much xxx”. (sic)
