Brittney Saunders has complained that she was ‘robbed’ at the 2024 TikTok Awards after she missed out on taking home one of the top gongs.
The millionaire entrepreneur had been nominated for TikTok Business of the Year at the annual ceremony, which was held at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Wednesday night.
However, the CEO and founder of the Fayt fashion label didn’t take home the award, which was ultimately handed to influencer Kat Clark, the co-founder of skincare brand Kaladé.
Brittney took to Instagram after the glitzy ceremony, where Bridey Drake was also named TikTok Creator of the Year, to jokingly comment that she was ‘robbed’ of her victory.
Sharing a meme-worthy close-up shot of her disappointed expression, she penned in a caption: ‘Robbed twice in a week xx.’
Brittney also took to her Stories to share a video of herself discussing her loss after arriving home, lightheartedly saying she was ‘disappointed’ not to have given a victory speech.

‘I’m just going to take off my jewellery in absolute disappointment now, just kidding,’ she said.
‘We are the real winners, I’ll tell you why, because we’ve got a whole cheese platter that we didn’t have before we left, so who’s really winning? We are.’
Brittney admitted she had prepared a speech in case of her victory, but insisted she was just happy to be nominated as she insisted her earlier Instagram post had been a ‘joke’.
‘It was an honour to be nominated, there were only five people nominated in each category, so the fact that we were up there was an honour,’ she continued.
‘I would also like to say I’m genuinely not bummed and there’s no hard feelings, I know I did that post before […].
‘The awards, they are fun and they’re grand and whatever, but at the end of the day, nothing changes to anyone who wins or loses an award, everything is still the same.’
‘I am bummed because I had a nice little speech planned, but I can just do a speech on here everyday anyway,’ she quipped.
In the Business of the Year category, Brittney had also been up against jewellery business owner Jasmine Hand, blogger Brooke Saward and Chebbo’s Burgers owner Ali Chebbani.
