A new mega pack of Mini Eggs has been spotted in UK supermarkets, capturing Briton’s attention due to the size and the price.
The pack weighs in at one kilogram, containing nearly 5,000 calories and has a hefty price tag of £14 at Tesco and £15 at Waitrose and Iceland.
Tesco describes the product as a: “Delicious creamy Cadbury milk chocolate, wrapped in a crunchy, lightly speckled sugar shell for a soft and crunchy combination that’s hard to beat.
“They are the perfect Easter treat for one or just as good shared amongst family and friends. Made with sustainably sourced cocoa.”

The public has taken to social media to share their opinions on the new Mini Eggs.
Commenting on NewFoodsUK’s post, one user said: “I was laughing when I saw that price; there is no way I would pay that money.”
Another said: “Apparently you can get mortgage advice when buying these. Good rates apparently.”
One commenter was not put off by the price and said: “I couldn’t buy it. I’d just eat the whole bag and then have to buy another.”
When working out how many Mini Eggs people get in one small pack, it does work out cheaper to buy the mega pack as opposed to multiple single packs, which several Britons have been keen to point out.
“People saying it is expensive then they pay £1.85 for a measly 80g. Work it out people,” one user wrote.
Another said: “I brought them yesterday. It’s cheaper to buy that bag than it is to get 13 smaller bags.”
A customer did disagree and took to Tesco’s own page and said: “Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting price. Glad this is doing the rounds on social media as this is greedy and foul. I hope nobody buys these.”
