Bonnie Tyler is understood to have been placed in an “induced coma” as her health condition reportedly worsened after being hospitalised on Wednesday.
The Welsh singer underwent emergency bowel surgery in Portugal after being rushed to hospital while in the Algarve last month.
It was reported on Wednesday that the 74-year-old Total Eclipse of the Heart was stable and recovering at a medical facility in Faro following the emergency surgery
It’s understood the singer experienced severe abdominal pain in recent days before being taken to hospital for the urgent procedure.
However, local media are now reporting her condition became worse in the last few hours.
Portuguese news outlet Correio da Manha reported the singer had been moved to an intensive care ward.
According to The Sun, it reads: “Bonnie Tyler is in an induced coma after several days at Faro Hospital following intestinal surgery.”
