Chynna Phillips confirmed that she and her husband, Billy Baldwin, have moved back in together after opening up about their marital troubles earlier this year.
Nine months after saying she and her spouse had an ‘allergy’ to one another, the singer, 56, confirmed they are no longer living apart.
‘Billy called me earlier and he was like, “I just read another article about how you want to be married living apart.”‘ she told her YouTube followers. ‘I just want to clarify, at that time, I felt like I needed a little bit of space and really felt like that would be the most logical answer.’
She continued: ‘I am retracting that comment and I am now saying that is probably a very foolish, very unwise, very destructive, stupid decision, because that’s not going to solve our problem with the allergy.’
Still, she noted they do still have a ‘bit of an allergy’ toward the other, but that the ‘allergy medication is communication, being kind and gentle, being more tolerant and really seeking out ways to be kind and supportive and more playful.’

Phillips explained that she needs ‘more playfulness’ in her life, but that her husband ‘struggles with’ that.
‘Yes, I wish we could just giggle and be a little less serious together, but that’s just not his temperament as much,” she says. “He’s getting better. He is literally laughing more, playing more and finding the humor in things,’ she explained.
Since moving back in together, Phillips said Baldwin has been a ‘an awesome roommate these past few weeks.’
‘I don’t know, there’s been a shift. Maybe it’s me, maybe it’s him, maybe it’s God — maybe it’s a little bit of everything. But, I feel like we’re in a way, way better place. I’m so grateful,’ she stressed.
In April, Phillips revealed that she and Baldwin had been ‘going at it’ in a video shared to her faith-based YouTube channel, California Preachin’.
In the recording, she stated that she and Billy were ‘bickering and arguing’ more than ever since recently relocating from the East Coast to California.
‘Moving is hard, it definitely creates a perfect nesting ground for bickering and arguing [with all the] stressors,’ Chynna said.
‘So Billy and I have been kind of going at it these past couple of days. We have just been getting on each other’s last nerve.

‘It’s frustrating because just when I feel like we’re on a roll and things are starting to get better we start the bickering again,’ she added.
Chynna admitted that sometimes she feels like she’s ‘walking on eggshells’ around the actor and gets nervous about sharing her feelings with him because she doesn’t want to ‘rock the boat’ or ‘put him in a bad mood.’
‘Billy’s my life partner. He’s the one I want to be able to talk to when I’m feeling the most vulnerable or the most upset,’ said Chynna who has been married to Billy since 1995.
‘He’s the one I want to be able to [come to] but a lot of times I don’t because I don’t want to rock the boat or put him in a bad mood. I’m walking on eggshells.’
Chynna, who has three children with Billy, said it was ‘partially her fault’ because she needs to learn to ‘speak up’ and ‘trust that he’ll be able to handle her emotions.’
‘But I start to think if I share then that’s going to send him into a depression or he’s going to have anxiety,’ she added.

‘It just comes down to me not wanting to trigger him. But the truth is, me having that fear is keeping us from true intimacy. It’s preventing me from opening up to him. I’m trying to guard his feelings and yet I’m causing more trouble in our marriage by doing that. I’m shooting myself in the foot,’ she added.
Chynna also optimistically noted, ‘One thing I do know for sure is that the pain I’m feeling today is not going to compare to the joy that I will be feeling for eternity. Sometimes I just have to remind myself of that.’
The Wilson Phillips group member in recent months has been fiercely honest about how her newfound love for Jesus had caused a ‘rupture’ in their relationship.
Chynna converted to Christianity in 2022 and revealed in January that her faith had become a ‘glaring issue’ between them.
Billy later appeared on her YouTube channel and said they were still going strong following a six-month separation period.
It hasn’t been become sort of the partnership that you’ve been yearning or hoping for,” Billy said. “But I still absolutely love you, absolutely adore you, and completely support you. That’s why I’m sitting here now. That’s why we go to church together. That’s why we pray together. That’s why we talk about faith together, That’s why I do this stuff for you … It’s because I’m a supportive, loving husband who adores his wife wants to spend the rest of my life with you, no question.’
