Grace Adams-Short has launched a scathing attack on Davina McCall, branding the presenter a “b***h” who showed her nothing but coldness during her Big Brother stint.
The 40-year-old, who became a household name on the 2006 series alongside Nikki Grahame and Pete Bennett, claims the host’s frosty demeanour left a lasting mark on her.
The couple met on their series in 2006 and have been together since

Speaking to Betway, Ms Adams-Short declared: “Davina was never really friendly to me. She was a b***h! Even during my eviction interview, I could tell she didn’t like me. And I’ve never crossed paths with her again.”
Despite not seeing eye to eye with Ms McCall, Ms Adams-Short had nothing but praise for Dermot O’Leary, the current This Morning host, whom she spent a week with on Big Brother’s Little Brother following her eviction.
“He even stopped his taxi on Regents Street once because he saw me. He was always so lovely to my mum, too,” she recalled, describing him as the “nicest, most genuine guy.”
20 years on, she revealed that she has no regrets from her time on the show, but admitted: “Sometimes I think maybe I should’ve just been the nice girl – I probably would’ve lasted longer.

“But I wouldn’t have been able to keep that up. You’re watched 24/7, so it’s impossible to be someone you’re not.”
The former housemate, now a drama school owner, famously threw water over Susie Verrico upon her exit and admitted her actions cemented her status as one of BB’s ultimate villains.
Ms Adams-Short now says it was all part of the show’s over-the-top energy, and added: “Big Brother was like a panto – it was all theatrical.
“I would never have thrown a glass of water over someone in normal life, but it was such a strange environment. I was young, too.”

Looking back on her younger self, she admitted: “I used to have such a potty mouth, and even Mikey says he would often wish I’d stop talking in the house because he knew I was digging myself a deeper hole.
“I dealt with the boos and the backlash well, though. I think my background in dance gave me a thick skin – even at that young age, I could handle rejection.”
Her time in the house also brought her lasting friendships, with several former contestants remaining part of her life nearly two decades on, including her husband Mikey Dalton, whom she met on the programme and shares four children with.
However, not all relationships have survived the years and Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace revealed that she still has a problem with me.”

Recounting an incident during a Covid-era video call when her former housemate abruptly disconnected after others enquired about Ms Adam-Short’s marriage.
She also spoke movingly about Ms Grahame, who died in 2021 following complications from anorexia.
The former housemate revealed that a group of them maintained contact with Ms Grahame in the period before her death.
“A few of my Big Brother housemates would reach out over messages with Nikki before her death. It was me, Imogen [Thomas], Richard [Newman] and Glyn. We’d speak to her from time to time. It was really sad.”
Ms Graham had hidden her eating disorder, which began during childhood, from Big Brother producers. Her mental health deteriorated significantly in 2011, resulting in her being sectioned the following year.
Her family later attempted to crowdfund for alternative treatments after NHS options “failed,” but tragically, it proved too late.
