Bec Judd has revealed that being a cricket spectator can be ‘frightening’ – especially when your son is on the pitch.
The AFL WAG, 41, took to her Instagram story on Wednesday to share a photo, taken from her point-of-view, that showed her watching her son Oscar, 13, play cricket.
Captioning the image, Bec admitted that she is always wracked with mixed emotions while cheering on from the sidelines.
‘Cricket dayzzzzzzz,’ she began the post.
‘Gee, watching your child bat is the best-worst, most exciting-frightening, awesome but s*** time.’
Bec added that the tension can reach a level where she finds it impossible to keep still.

The AFL WAG, 41, took to her Instagram story on Wednesday to admit she is always wracked with mixed emotions while cheering on from the sidelines.
‘I literally pace around with ants in my pants until he gets out. It’s torture. But thrilling. I’m cooked,’ she said.
Bec shared a second image that showed a couple of replies to her sentiment, proving that she was not alone with her cricket crisis.
‘This needs to be discussed more and raise awareness,’ one follower replied. ‘It’s unlike any other sport.’
Another admitted that watching their child at the crease left them feeling a little worse for wear.
‘I used to feel physically ill and get chronic diarrhoea when my son was batting,’ they shared.
‘Watching him bat literally gave me the s***s, thank God those days are behind me.’
Captioning her follower’s revelations, Bec doubled down, admitting the sight of Oscar preparing to face a delivery makes her feel ill.
‘Cricket parents unite,’ she began. ‘I’ve never witnessed a more stressful sport than when you have a loved one batting,’ Bec wrote.

‘Especially when they’re having leather hand grenades hurled at their heads over 100 km/h.
She continued: ‘I feel physically sick often. And when they get out cheaply I could cry because I feel so bad for them. Even when it’s a practice match!’
Bec’s admission comes after she traded the Australian heat for a winter wonderland Christmas family holiday in Japan.
Bec and husband Chris, along with Oscar, daughter Billie, 9, and twins Tom and Darcy, eight, enjoyed an upmarket Yuletide holiday at the upmarket Kiroro ski resort in Hokkaido.

While it is not known exactly where Bec and her family were staying on the resort, it offers three different accommodation options, all with a very high-end price tag.
The Kiroro Grand and Kiroro Peak both list three-night stays at their venues for around $3,000 during the peak Christmas period.
Meanwhile, the Yu Kiroro Hokkaido Ski Resort Hotel offers package stay options such as the Alpine Package, which starts at $2,904 for a minimum three-night stay.
The very luxurious hotel also currently lists a two-bedroom suit on its website for as much as $4,500 for a one-night stay in January, while prices are lower off season.
The family are no strangers to skiing and often jet off on very luxurious snowy holidays around the globe.
In early 2023, they enjoyed a $100,000 ski trip in Canada and stayed at the luxurious five-star hotel Fairmont Château in Whistler, where suites can cost up to $2,700 per night.
Bec, Chris and the kids all flew business class and sported mountains of luggage with flights from Melbourne to Vancouver costing upwards of $10,000 a seat.
Prior to Covid, the family regularly enjoyed trips to Whistler to enjoy skiing and snow activities.
The Fairmont has six restaurants, a health club, pools, a spa and personal fireplaces in each lavish suite.
Bec regularly trains with private ski instructors while in the resort town, with lessons starting from around $829.
