Police have launched an investigation 35 years after the death of a 58-year-old man, with a pensioner arrested on suspicion of murder. Bentley Mathias, who would now have been 92, died on 19 November 1991 in Morriston Hospital. At the time, his cause of death was recorded as a brain haemorrhage and was not treated as suspicious. However, Mathias’ death is now being investigated after new potential evidence has come to light.
