Motorists with medical conditions across the UK can now benefit from new DVLA measures to deal with their driving licences.The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) has confirmed that motorists can now visit GOV.UK to check how 1,600 medical conditions could impact their ability behind the wheel.Drivers will now be able to check how medical conditions could affect them and, where required, notify the DVLA online that they have a condition.So far, more than 60,000 drivers have made use of the DVLA’s enhanced online medical service as an alternative to paper applications.The DVLA reported that it had seen “exceptionally high”…

At least 1,200 properties have no water or low pressure in different parts of Kent due to various factors affecting the South East Water (SEW) supply.The firm has apologised to customers in the Charing, Challock and Molash areas who have been experiencing problems since Saturday.It said drinking water supplies to about 800 properties in the area were currently affected but it was working to restore provisions.Elsewhere, in Benenden, Rolvenden and surrounding areas, SEW said about 400 properties had low pressure or no water following recent pipe bursts and high demand during the hot weather.SEW also apologised to customers in Blean,…
