A spectator has died in an accident at the Donegal International Rally on Saturday and the remainder of the event has been cancelled.A joint statement from governing body Motorsport Ireland and rally organisers Donegal Motor Club confirmed a “young male spectator has passed away” following an accident on the 12th stage. Counter-terrorism officers have launched a probe into a series of incidents in Edinburgh which left five people injured.Police Scotland said a 36-year-old white Scottish man has been arrested, adding there is no further threat to the public.Officers were called to a report of an incident in the Sighthill area of the city, where two men were injured, at around 8.50pm on Friday.Police said they then received reports about incidents around retailers across the west and north of the city.The force said that during this period three other men were allegedly attacked in the Telford Road and Leith Walk area.Police said…

A train driver has been killed and 100 people injured following a train crash in Bedford on Friday, according to the police. Of the injured, 28 people are in hospital, with nine in a critical condition.
