An 85-year-old grandfather has died more than four months after confronting burglars who broke into his home.Gordon Nicholass was the victim of a burglary at about 03:00 BST on 29 April at his home in the village of Helmshore, Lancashire.Lancashire Police said he was assaulted and suffered injuries to his head and cuts to his face when he confronted the burglars.
