Ex-Tory minister Ann Widdecombe has hit out at the argument Reform UK are “splitting” the Tory vote, arguing they are the only genuine conservative option.
She spoke to Tom Harwood on GB News where she reflected on Reform’s previous incarnation, the Brexit Party, withdrawing its candidates from the 2019 election.
It was a decision that proved instrumental in the eventual Tory win, but Widdecombe insists Reform won’t be “falling for that again”.
