Angry Ginge is a finalist in this year’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here

Angry Ginge’s sister Tasha has said going on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! had been on his bucket list.

The social media personality, real name Morgan Burtwistle, is among the final four celebrities left in the Australian jungle for the 25th series of the show.

“I knew it was on his bucket list, something he never thought he’d actually get to do, so I was just really happy for him,” said Tasha.

Tasha Burtwistle, who got to briefly visit her brother in the jungle along with their mum, said he was “smashing it” and she was “proud of how far he’s come”.

Tasha said her brother had always been a prankster and once woke her up by smashing pans together, so she was not surprised to see Morgan scare fellow campmate Lisa Riley up by sneaking up on her when she was sleeping.

She said she was “so excited and nervous for him” when they found it he was heading to the jungle.

Rapper Aitch, from Manchester, Eastenders actor Shona McGarty and presenter Tom Read Wilson are the other finalists, with the winner being crowned on ITV later.

Celebrities including Jack Osborne, Martin Kemp from Spandau Ballet and comedian and presenter Ruby Wax have been voted out of the show.

Tasha said watching her brother on TV was “amazing and honestly hilarious” and “he’s surprised me with all the things he’s done in there”.

“I couldn’t be any prouder of him,” she added.

Tasha said she hoped he would win as “I know it would mean the world to him”.

She said it was tough because everyone left in the jungle had their own reasons why they deserved it too.

Angry Ginge would be shocked to know how much support he has had as he did not expect anything like this, she added.

“He’s gone in as ‘the streamer’ and look at him now!”

Commenting on ‘milk bottle gate’, when Angry Ginge, model and presenter Kelly Brook and Aitch secretly ate some of the milk bottle sweets won for their campmates in a challenge, Tasha said it was just her brother’s cheeky side coming out.

“It was literally the one thing we told him not to do though! But I guess that’s what makes it even funnier,” she added.
