Angry Ginge has said he hopes more big events will come to Manchester after the success of the Brit Awards.

The I’m a Celebrity winner, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, was at the music event at the Co-op Arena on Saturday night.

The Salford social media personality said Manchester was “the place to be” and the Brits had opened people’s eyes to “how good” the city was.

The biggest stars in pop and rock gathered in the city for the 46th edition of the Brit Awards.

It was the first time the ceremony had been held outside London since it started in 1977.
