Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor could face a humiliating rejection when he moves into his new home.

Andrew’s upcoming move to a Sandringham residence puts him in close proximity to the Royal West Norfolk golf club.

While he holds an honorary membership at the prestigious course, questions remain about the kind of reception he might receive there and whether he would be welcomed at all.

His honorary membership does not grant him an automatic entitlement to use the course, according to The Times.

It also remains unclear whether he would be permitted to jump ahead of the waiting list, which stretches back several years, with the scenario of a humiliating rejection for Andrew still possible if he attempts to use the course.

It comes as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has seen priceless possessions removed from the Royal Lodge as staff plan for his exit.

Valuable artwork has been taken down from the walls as preparations intensify for the disgraced royal’s departure from the property.

The Royal Collection Trust has transported these highly valuable pieces to a bonded warehouse in London, where they will remain in storage until a new location is determined.

The Trust has declined to provide any information regarding the current location of items within its collection.

King Charles has reportedly designated Marsh Farm on the Sandringham estate as Andrew’s future residence.

To expedite the transition, the King has indicated that temporary accommodation will be provided while restoration work takes place at the property.

Wood Farm represents one possibility for this interim arrangement.

The secluded five-bedroom dwelling previously served as Prince Philip’s private retreat following his retirement from public duties in 2017.

However, construction crews have already commenced work on Marsh Farm, yet even this planned relocation has reportedly become uncertain.

Significant security upgrades are necessary to ensure Andrew’s safety at the property.

Construction teams have been installing secure gates and alarm systems, though the former duke is reportedly dissatisfied with the proposed arrangement.

It forms part of efforts to accelerate the former duke’s departure from Royal Lodge, the Grade II listed Windsor property where he has resided for twenty years while paying minimal rent.
