Aldi is giving shoppers access to two viral food and drink trends this summer, and both launches are budget-friendly.

The supermarket’s latest addition is a brand-new Deli American Style Pickle Dip, which has just landed in stores nationwide for 95p.

The new product taps directly into the pickle obsession sweeping social media, where thousands of fans have been sharing everything from pickle-themed charcuterie boards to pickle margaritas.

And that’s not all — the retailer has also brought back its famous ‘Chicken Wine’ in supersized magnum form, priced at just £11.99.

The 170g tub is made with a creamy combination of sour cream, soft cheese, crunchy gherkins and fragrant dill, delivering a tangy yet smooth flavour that pickle fans will love.

It’s not just one for dipping crisps into, either. The supermarket said it can work well as a spread on burger buns, drizzled over chips, or as the centrepiece of a charcuterie board — making it a summer all-rounder.

The launch comes as the nation’s pickle craze shows no signs of slowing down, with everything from a viral spicy pickle drink to homemade pickle dips fuelling the trend across social media.

Meanwhile, rosé lovers have had reason to celebrate as Aldi’s Le Grand Poulet Rosé Magnum arrived on shelves earlier this month.

Priced at £11.99 for a generous 150cl bottle, it is the supersized version of the retailer’s viral Le Petit Poulet Rosé — affectionately known as ‘Chicken Wine’ — which became a massive hit with shoppers.

Fans flooded Aldi’s Instagram page with excitement when the original launched, with comments including: “Oh this is what I’m talking about!” and “Rosé all the way!”

The magnum holds the equivalent of two standard bottles, making it ideal for summer group barbecues and garden parties.

This elegant French rosé sports a delicate pale peach-pink hue and offers refreshing citrus fruit and red berry aromas on the nose. It’s light, dry and crisp — exactly what you want when you’re basking in the sunshine with friends.
