Airline star Katrina Leeder has married her partner Simon, just two weeks after she announced her engagement.
The reality star, 48, who appeared in the hit fly-on-the-wall ITV series in the late nineties, announced the news in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
Television personality Katrina was seen posing in a beautiful white wedding dress with a long train that swept the ground at the Gretna Green Famous Blacksmiths Shop wedding venue.
Earlier this month, Katrina told how both she and Simon are battling cancer, and today, she said Simon slept right up until he had to leave for the wedding having finished some chemotherapy treatment in recent days.
She wrote: ‘Wooo hooo, well we done it! Simon was feeling so weak and rough after his chemotherapy a few days ago, in fact he was asleep up until an hour before the wedding, but he done it, we done it and I am very proud to be his wife, Mrs Drew. We will keep each other strong forever.’

Sharing a picture of her diamond ring in an Instagram post, she wrote: ‘I cannot stop looking at how much it sparkles.’
Katrina, who now works as a travel radio DJ, was inundated with a stream of congratulatory messages from her followers.
In a follow-up post a few hours later Katrina gave some insight into her relationship with Simon, sharing the sad news that both of them are battling cancer.
Explaining she wanted to update her followers after not posting for a while, Katrina wrote: ‘I feel I should come on here firstly to THANK everybody that has congratulated me on my engagement to my gorgeous, loving, supportive partner Simon and to also address what has been going on in our lives and still is.’
Katrina told her followers that she has been receiving treatment for her eighth bout of cancer.
‘I am currently getting over Thyroid cancer (i still have cancer cells, but we have been told this can be treated.),’ she explained.
Katrina then revealed the sad news that Simon has also been diagnosed with incurable cancer.

‘Through my ill health Simon has been my rock and supporting me throughout so as you can imagine it was a great shock that Simon became unwell and after misdiagnosis and several tests we received the most unbearable news ever that Simon also has cancer,’ she wrote.
‘Unfortunately Simon’s cancer is incurable but thankfully he has started chemotherapy to try and give him as much of quality life as possible.
‘This is ironic that the situation has flipped around and we are on the opposite sides now but one thing for sure is that he has a role model by his side which he will be calling his wife in the next few weeks to keep him fighting, lets face it i’m a pro, what with now having cancer 8 times and I am still here.
‘Yes no doubt when we both say “I do” we will be having a mix of emotions but one thing for sure we will have each other to the end and we would not want it any other way.’
Katrina worked on Luton Airport’s EasyJet check in desk and Airline viewers followed her life both in and outside of the workplace.
As well as preparations to wed her then-fiancé Julian she also documented her battle with cancer which saw Katrina, who was 22 at the time, have eight organs removed including a kidney, her spleen, part of a lung, part of her diaphragm, half her stomach, her gallbladder and 70 per cent of her liver.
During a 2018 This Morning reunion to celebrate the show’s 20th anniversary Katrina revealed she had, at that point, been diagnosed with the disease seven times.
After announcing her engagement news Katrina gave some insight into her relationship with Simon, sharing the sad news that both of them are battling cancer
She said: ‘So I left EasyJet and I actually left and had cancer again but I didn’t tell anybody I kept it very quiet, I lived a very private life. Unfortunately over all those years I’ve now had it seven times and lost seven organs, but I’m still here.
‘I live each day. Every day is very precious for me, very important. I live each day as it comes and grasp what I can. Every day I’m here I bless those two girls and I’ve got more time with them.’
