Olympic champion Adam Peaty and his wife, Holly Ramsay, have revealed they are set to become parents for the first time, with a daughter expected to arrive in December 2026.

The 26-year-old influencer posted the announcement on Instagram on Saturday, sharing an image displaying her baby bump.

“Baby Ramsay-Peaty coming December 2026. We can’t wait to meet our baby girl,” Holly wrote in the caption.

The joyful news arrives just six months after the couple exchanged vows.

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana will become grandparents for the first time when the baby arrives this winter.

The pair wed in a ceremony at the historic Bath Abbey on December 27, 2025, followed by celebrations at Kin House in the countryside.

Gordon expressed his delight at the prospect of becoming a grandfather, commenting on the announcement: “Congratulations to you both sending lots of love Dad I’m going to be a very over excited Grandad especially this Christmas.”

The post attracted well-wishes from numerous high-profile figures, including the Beckhams.

Victoria Beckham and her son Romeo were among those offering their congratulations in the comments on Holly’s Instagram announcement.

The 31-year-old swimmer has been warmly welcomed into the Ramsay household, reportedly now referring to Gordon and Tana as “dad” and “mum”.

The pregnancy announcement comes against a backdrop of family turmoil for the swimmer.

Peaty has been embroiled in a bitter dispute with his estranged relatives since November, when it emerged he had barred his mother Caroline and father Mark from attending his wedding.

The couple were excluded from the Bath Abbey ceremony despite having supported their son throughout his swimming career.

Bethany, Adam’s sister who works as a carer, was the sole member of his family present.

She has previously spoken about feeling torn between her loyalties to her brother and her parents amid the ongoing rift.

The swimmer’s estranged family have accused him of exploiting his connection to the famous chef by registering for the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Glasgow under his married name, Adam Ramsay-Peaty.

A source close to his parents told the Daily Mail: “As much as Adam wants to be a Ramsay, he is not. He is a Peaty.”

The insider claimed the athlete is “cashing in on the Ramsay name because it opens doors” and suggested he is “playing a role”.

The family source added: “Adam may be rich but we have something that he hasn’t and that is brains, loyalty, integrity and family.”

They continued: “Fame is but fleeting but family is forever.”
