Two boys have appeared in court after five teenagers were stabbed at a Halloween party in Hampshire.

Police were called to a home in Park Road, Chandler’s Ford, shortly after 22:30 GMT on Saturday, after an “unknown group” got into the party over a garden fence.

Two 16-year-old boys from Southampton appeared at Southampton Youth Court, one charged with attempted murder and the other with wounding with intent.

Both have been remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Crown Court on 13 November.

The boy charged with wounding with intent indicated a plea of not guilty.

The pair cannot legally be named because of their age.

Four other teenage boys have previously been arrested all on suspicion of attempted murder.

Police said they have all been bailed with conditions, including locations they cannot travel to and people they cannot communicate with.
