An Islamic terrorist who broke into Britain via small boat has been spotted shopping in King Charles’ local Co-op after being allowed to stay in the country.

Iraqi national Mohammed Yaseen was previously a member of Al-Qaeda and an Islamic State terror cell which routinely carried out large-scale executions.

After being released onto Britain’s streets following a six-month stint in prison, Yaseen has been living at a bail hostel in Windsor, which is just a stone’s throw away from Windsor Castle.

The convicted terrorist was seen leaving a Co-op location near the monarch’s residence last week.

The Iraqi national has since been recalled to prison after breaching good behaviour conditions imposed upon him following his release.

During his trial at Winchester Crown Court for his illegal entry into Britain, prosecutor Steven Molloy described Yaseen as having a “lengthy involvement in terrorism and Islamic extremist ideology”.

During proceedings, jurors heard he had provided a false name to officials at the border to avoid his past being unearthed.

The court was also told his presence in the country “posed a danger to the whole of the UK”.

His arrival into Britain came after he served almost five years behind bars in Germany over his membership of Islamic State.

Despite concerns being raised over the threat Yaseen poses to the British public, the Foreign Office reportedly expressed fears he could face “mistreatment” if returned to Iraq.

The Iraqi national has reapplied to remain in Britain, grinding any Home Office attempts to deport him to a halt.

Anger is also brewing the British taxpayer could be forced to fork out up to £500,000 in legal aid to the terrorist should he take his case to the European Court of Human Rights.

MIGRANT CRISIS – READ THE LATEST:

Yaseen’s upkeep at the taxpayer’s expense could cost up to £85,000 as the Home Office forks out for his accommodation, food allowance and monitoring, experts told The Mail on Sunday.

Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp said: “We are paying through the nose to feed, clothe and house individuals who pose a clear threat.

“If Andy Burnham took this seriously, he would deport this man at once.”

In 2020, a court in Dusseldorf, Germany was told Yaseen had participated in bomb attack which killed US personnel in Iraq.

Jurors also heard the Iraqi national had been deployed by Isis as a security guard for mass executions, stonings and beheadings.

Some of the massacres are said to have seen women and children killed.

The German court also heard Yaseen planted more than a dozen bombs around Ar-Rutbah in western Iraq when he was a teenage member of Al Qaeda.

Yaseen arrived in Germany during the height of Europe’s migrant crisis in 2015 and swiftly claimed asylum under Angela Merkel’s watch.

His history of terrorism was not discovered by German authorities, and he worked as a barber in North Rhine-Westphalia.

He was arrested in 2018 alongside three other Iraqi men after police received a tip-off.
