Crossnacreevy: Men who died in workplace incident named by police | UK News

Two men who died after a workplace incident at a road in County Down on Friday have been named by police.

Joseph Hobbs, 23, from Comber and Mark Glover, 38, from Ballygowan received medical treatment but were pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident happened on the Ballygowan Road in Crossnacreevy at about 10:45 BST on Friday.

Police said their sympathies remained “with all those affected by this tragic incident”.

The police said they will continue to work with Northern Ireland’s Health and Safety Executive (HSENI) as enquiries continue.
