Liam Gallagher has pulled no punches against Terry Christian after the TV presenter and Manchester United fan took to social media to gloat about the alleged financial rule breaches made against Manchester City.
Mr Christian took to X to weigh in on the saga after an independent panel determined that City were guilty of the majority of the 115 breaches levelled against them by the Premier League.
The verdicts come following a process that has stretched across 1,329 days since the charges were first brought.
The club has consistently maintained they have done nothing wrong throughout the lengthy proceedings.

Neither the Premier League nor City publicly confirmed the outcome. The Athletic was the first publication that revealed the decision.
Fans and rival supporters have been at loggerheads following the news. And Mr Christian decided to wade in when one X user suggested City were “the only victim”.
“So the cheats were the victims,” the former I’m A Celeb star, 66, penned in response. “Not the fans whose season ticket prices spiralled or the teams unfairly cheated out of trophies. Ok get you.”

PAMr Christian signed off his retort with a series of laughing emojis, and it soon caught the eye of Oasis singer Mr Gallagher.
In the musician’s typical fashion, he fumed: “Have a day off you S**TC***.
“And while your at it go give that face of yours a good ironing MCFC CTID LG,” he concluded. (sic)
Mr Christian replied with a photo of the popular pub chain All Bar One, along with the caption: “Good place for a drink.”

Inevitably, it didn’t take long for Oasis and Mr Gallagher’s fans to wade into the row. “Liam Gallagher calling Terry Christian a S**TC*** has restored my faith in humanity,” one fan replied.
A second echoed: “Just when you think you can’t love @liamgallagher any more than you do, he goes and spanks the 2nd biggest unpatriotic prat in the UK only behind @narindertweets.”
“Ha ha ha take a bow sir. Take a bow. Bravo Liam. Ha ha ha. Made my day that,” a third echoed, while a fourth added: “I don’t know the context, I don’t care about the context but calling this bloke exactly what he is publicly… that’s GOLD!”
And a fifth sarcastically replied: “There’s no need to hold back, Liam. Just say what you think of him.”
Elsewhere, in its official response, City pointedly avoided acknowledging the findings, instead emphasising that the “process remains ongoing” given their intention to appeal.
The club’s position suggests the panel’s ruling marks not the conclusion of this saga but rather, as one analysis put it, “the end of the beginning.”
Given the severity of the charges, a points deduction of some kind now looks unavoidable, assuming City’s appeal is unsuccessful.
However, the sanction hearing could still be months away, and the outcome may not be made public until after the appeals process concludes.

PAMeanwhile, City’s chief executive Ferran Soriano delivered what has been described as a “defiant” message to fellow European club leaders regarding the guilty verdict against his side, according to BBC Sport.
Mr Soriano addressed executives at a European Football Clubs board meeting in Copenhagen on Monday, ahead of the organisation’s general assembly on Tuesday.
During the gathering, he reportedly pledged to contest the charges and stressed that the legal process was far from over.
His remarks mirrored the sentiments expressed by City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak, who wrote to supporters on Saturday, declaring his continued commitment to “proving the club’s innocence” and asserting that the “process still has a long way to run.”
