Mike Tindall made his first public appearance on Friday evening following the announcement of his father Phillip’s passing at the age of 80.
The former England Rugby captain, 47, attended the Laver Cup alongside his wife Zara Tindall, the daughter of Princess Anne.
The couple, who have been married since 2011, were seen together at the tennis event just days after Mike shared the heartbreaking news on his rugby podcast, The Good, The Bad & The Rugby.
Despite what has clearly been an incredibly tough period, Mike appeared in good spirits during the outing.
The Tindalls have been enthusiastic supporters of the Laver Cup for some time, given that the tournament was co-founded by their close friend Federer.

The podcast episode in which Mike revealed his father’s death aired on September 23.
The pair were photographed chatting with Swiss tennis great Roger Federer while watching from the stands.
They also posed for pictures with players Learner Tien, Francisco Cerundolo and Casper Ruud.

The Tindalls have been enthusiastic supporters of the Laver Cup for some time, given that the tournament was co-founded by their close friend Federer.
The couple are regular attendees at his ventures, having also turned out for the London screening of his documentary, Federer: Twelve Final Days.
During the September 23 episode of his podcast, Mike opened up about his loss, telling listeners: “Unfortunately, my dad passed away last week.”
He also expressed his gratitude to Otley Rugby Club in West Yorkshire, who honoured his father during their match against Chester. Phil Tindall had captained the club in 1972 and 1973.
“Big shout-out to Otley Rugby Club. They played Chester on the weekend, and they did a minute’s silence to my dad, who was captain in ’72, ’73,” Mike said.
He explained that someone had filmed the tribute and sent it to him, allowing him to watch the moment.
The club also included a written dedication in the match-day programme.
“But thank you very much to Otley Rugby Club for it,” he added.
