Katie Price has revealed her mother Amy, 74, remains in hospital and is “very poorly” amid her long-running health battle.
“Mum is still in hospital. She’s very poorly,” the 48-year-old former glamour model said on the most recent episode of The Katie Price Show.
“She’s very poorly at the minute, but she loves watching what we’re doing.”
The reality star added Amy had taken great pleasure in seeing the family appear at the National Television Awards.

No further details regarding Amy’s current treatment were shared.
Amy was first diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, a terminal lung condition known as IPF, back in 2017.

In the years since her diagnosis, Amy has endured numerous stays in hospital as her condition has fluctuated.
Earlier this year in March, she was admitted after contracting an infection.
Two months later, during a Good Morning Britain appearance in May, Katie revealed her mother was “really not well”.
The family has periodically offered updates as Amy’s health has shifted throughout her prolonged fight against the disease.

Amy’s condition became critical in 2023, when she fell into a coma and required a major lung transplant to save her life.
The operation represented a significant intervention in her years-long battle with IPF.
However, the surgery did not resolve all of Amy’s health difficulties.
Katie has spoken about how her mother has continued to struggle with breathlessness and reduced mobility even after the transplant procedure.
Her condition has remained unpredictable, with the family facing ongoing uncertainty about her prognosis.
During a podcast episode in July featuring her sister Sophie, Katie opened up about the terror they experienced while cameras were rolling for her Sky documentary Katie Price: Nothing To Hide.

“There were so many times we thought we were gonna lose mum through the filming,” Katie admitted, with Sophie confirming she had feared Amy would not pull through.
The social media influencer also revealed nobody in the family had believed Amy would survive long enough to attend the Baftas in February.
Yet Amy defied those expectations and later turned up at the documentary’s launch event, wearing a striking white and blue floral outfit and posing proudly alongside her daughter.
