Comedian Peter Kay gatecrashed a weather report live on air.
North West Tonight’s Molly Brewer was presenting her report when Kay joined her on screen.
The Bolton comedian’s impromptu appearance was reminiscent of when he famously interrupted the late Dianne Oxberry’s forecast in 2011, and declared she “made it sunshine for everybody”.
It came as Kay was speaking about staging a one-off show at Blackpool’s Opera House next month to raise funds for vital heart treatment in the United States for 19-year-old Fin Cormack from Prenton, Merseyside.
