Prince Edward and Duchess of Edinburgh stepped out for a family theatre trip on Friday evening, taking in a performance of Inala at the House of Sisters Grimm Theatre in London’s West End.

They were accompanied by their daughter Lady Louise Windsor and her boyfriend, Felix da Silva-Clamp. The production is a Zulu ballet that was created as a celebration of African culture and diversity.

Described as a critically acclaimed and Grammy-nominated show, Inala features choreography by Mark Baldwin OBE, with music co-written by Joseph Shabalala, Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Ella Spira.

The cast has included performers from the Royal Ballet, Rambert, and South African legends Soweto Gospel Choir.

Following the performance, the royal party posed alongside cast members from the show.

The Duchess of Edinburgh opted for a cream blouse paired with a dark skirt for the occasion, while Prince Edward chose a light-blue shirt with blue chinos.

Lady Louise wore a green blouse teamed with a plaid skirt, and her boyfriend Felix cut a smart figure in a suit.

The family appeared relaxed and in good spirits during what was clearly an enjoyable evening out together, marking one of the first public occasions where Felix has been seen alongside the wider Edinburgh family at a London event.

Chiara from the Sisters Grimm team told HELLO!: “It was incredibly special to welcome the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and their children to INALA, 12 years after its world premiere here in Edinburgh.”

She noted that the company had previously been “honoured to perform for the Prince and Princess of Wales at the Royal Variety Performance and for Prince Harry at Hampton Court Palace.”

Looking ahead, she added: “To now share INALA with another generation of the Royal Family feels very special. We’re beginning to wonder who might come and see us next!”

The show has clearly built a strong following among senior royals over the years.

Lady Louise and Felix first crossed paths at the University of St Andrews, where they reportedly “struck up a friendship when they were cast in the first student-written play to be performed at the Byre Theatre at St Andrews” in 2024.

Felix has since become a regular presence at Louise’s carriage driving competitions.

Sara Howe, a carriage driving trainer who regularly sees Louise compete, exclusively told HELLO! that her “lad” is “just lovely.”

She described him as supportive while giving Louise space to focus on competing.

Sara added that the couple “certainly aren’t put out on a pedestal,” calling them “totally the opposite from that.”
