Fire crews have been tackling a blaze that has gutted a house on a south Manchester estate.
Thick, black smoke could be seen billowing from the semi-detached property on Norleigh Road in Northenden after the fire broke out at about 14:45 BST.
Emergency services said it was unclear whether the house – which has lost part of its roof – was occupied at the time.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said crews were “working alongside colleagues from Greater Manchester Police and North West Ambulance Service”.
A police spokesman said there were no currently no reports of casualties and the cause of the fire was “yet to be officially determined”.
