Sir Rod Stewart has added another grandchild to his ever-expanding family, with his daughter Ruby giving birth to her second son recently.
Ruby Stewart, 39, and her fiancé Jake Kalick welcomed baby boy Levi Rhodes Kalick on August 4, making the 81-year-old rock legend a grandfather for the sixth time.
The model and musician shared the joyful news via Instagram, posting a collection of intimate photographs from the hospital shortly after the birth.
Levi is a younger brother for three-year-old Otis, whom Ruby and Jake also share. The couple got engaged in January 2023.
Ruby is one of Rod’s eight children, and his only child with former model Kelly Emberg, who dated the singer during the 1980s.
According to Ruby’s post, Levi arrived at 6.58pm, tipping the scales at 9lbs and measuring 20 inches long.
“We welcomed our little (big) Levi Rhodes Kalick,” she wrote, explaining the significance of the name she and Jake had chosen for their newborn.
“His name Levi means My Heart and his arrival has grown our hearts to 10 times the size,” Ruby added.

The 39-year-old also described the profound emotional impact of watching her eldest son encounter his baby brother for the first time.
“Seeing Otis and Levi meet for the first time might have been the greatest experience of my life so far,” she said.
“Otis is already the best big brother and we are already so in love with this sweet boy… Welcome sweet Levi!”
The photographs Ruby shared included her mother Kelly Emberg beaming while holding newborn Levi, pictured alongside the baby’s paternal grandmother.

Ruby’s half-sister Renee Stewart, 34, wrote: “Levi. Love you guys.”
Jake, the proud father, responded with a simple comment: “Boy mom.”
Several of Rod’s other children and their relatives also offered warm wishes.
When Ruby had first announced her pregnancy on Mother’s Day in May, half-sister Kimberly Stewart commented “Cutest,” while Kimberly’s mother Alana K. Stewart, 81, wrote: “Congratulations! And I can’t believe Otis is already three!”
Ruby had initially revealed her pregnancy in April, debuting her bump at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival where her father was performing.
She attended the festival alongside Jake and several Stewart family members, including half-siblings Kimberly and Liam.
Ruby had playfully announced the pregnancy on Instagram on May 10, writing: “We couldn’t decide on what to get Otis for his third birthday so we decided a sibling should suffice.”

A talented musician in her own right, Ruby has performed as half of the country act The Sisterhood and has also appeared on stage with her famous father.
The arrival of Levi further extends Rod’s considerable brood.
The 81-year-old has fathered eight children across five relationships, and his growing clan of grandchildren now numbers six.
Ruby’s half-sister Kimberly, 46, who is mother to daughter Delilah, also quietly welcomed her second child last year.
