Henry Nowak’s killer pleads not guilty to weapons charges alongside dad and brother

Vickrum Digwa, his father and brother have all pleaded not guilty to multiple weapons charges.

The three men entered their pleas at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today before District Judge Henry Gordon.


Vickrum Digwa, 23, alongside his brother, Gurpreet Digwa, 27, and father, Moga Singh, 52, are all charged with seven counts of possessing an offensive weapon in a private place, on December 4, 2025.

These include private possession of three machetes, 37 swords, three ninja swords, two knives, namely a flick knife or gravity knife, with a blade that opens automatically, and eight knuckle dusters, as well as an extendable baton and Manriki Gusari Kasari, a traditional Japanese weapon.

Meanwhile, Gurpreet is facing four additional charges.

These are possession of an offensive weapon, an extendable baton, in a public place; possession of a bladed article, an axe, in a public place; possession of a sharp bladed article, namely a kirpan, in a public place; and possession of a prohibited weapon, an air weapon, in a public place.

The court heard the prosecution put forward additional joint charges of three push daggers, but it wasn’t formally put to the defendants today.

Gurpreet Digwa and Moga Singh were granted unconditional bail, while Vickrum Digwa was granted technical bail while in custody.

Vickrum Digwa is currently serving a sentence of 21 years for the murder of 18-year-old Henry Nowak.

He appeared in Southampton Magistrates today via video link from HMP Frankland.

All of the offenses are dated December 4, one day after Mr Nowak was killed.

The trial will take place at Southampton Magistrates court on September 27 2027, and is expected to last between four and five weeks.
