The Bristol-born television personality revealed her lipoedema diagnosis earlier this year, a chronic condition that causes abnormal fat accumulation in the legs and sometimes arms. She spent £7,000 on liposuction treatment for her calves before undergoing the arm procedure.
In March, Ms Gibson disclosed that surgeons had removed 45 per cent of her arm during the brachioplasty and explained the necessity of intervention, stating: “No matter how fit you are or what your diet is, with lipoedema you can’t lose fat [in the affected areas].”

She hoped her openness would reassure other women experiencing similar struggles.
Ms Gibson spent the spring and early summer months recuperating from her procedures, telling Women and Home in April: “I can’t wait to get my bandages off.
“I’ve just been at home. It stopped me in my tracks a bit – I couldn’t even put the bins out, and I struggle with stopping and relaxing.”

Her routine also includes lymphatic drainage treatments, collagen supplements, and electrolytes. Ms Gibson purchased a treadmill to maintain her step count at home and occasionally puts together circuit training sessions.
She has additionally incorporated NAD+ and glutathione injections for anti-ageing purposes and constructed her own copper pyramid for meditation and energy healing.
Beyond her recovery, Ms Gibson is strongly linked with an appearance on the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing. Reports suggest the BBC is keen to secure her participation, with negotiations said to be advancing positively.
