Gadd will appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, August 5 in relation to the above charges.

The charges relate to one victim, and the offences are alleged to have taken place between the years of 1978 and 1981 at a residential address in Kensington.

The allegations were first reported to the Met on Friday, January 9, 2025, and an investigation into the circumstances was launched.

Gadd was first interviewed on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, in relation to the investigation.

He was found guilty of sexually abusing three schoolgirls between 1975 and 1980.

The disgraced singer was released in February 2023 after serving half his sentence.

However, he was returned to prison six weeks later after it was found he had breached his licence conditions by allegedly viewing downloaded images of children.

Bethan David, deputy chief crown prosecutor at CPS London, said: “This follows allegations made by a woman relating to a period of alleged abuse that took place between 1978 and 1981.

“Our prosecutors have worked to establish that there is sufficient evidence to bring this case to court and that it is in the public interest to do so.”
