British brand Salter has just unveiled its new Crisp and Go portable air fryer, bringing the fight to US rival Ninja’s Crispi.
Salter’s Crisp and Go is a compact 1500W air fryer that ships with a 4-litre glass cooking container plus 1.5-litre meal-prep containers that you can take with you. This one-stop-shop is designed to cook, store, reheat, and take meals on the go. Salter says it has ensured its new machine has simple presets and easy-clean dishwasher-safe parts to make it as simple as possible.
Unveiled at just £89.99, it greatly undercuts Ninja’s own version — priced at £149.99. At first glance, they look cut from the same cloth. But beneath the shared glass-container design and plug-and-cook portability, the two brands are taking noticeably different approaches regarding how much control, power, and flexibility each one offers.
