Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are celebrating eight years of marriage today by sharing a collection of never-before-seen photographs from their Windsor Castle nuptials.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex exchanged vows at St George’s Chapel on May 19 2018, and are marking the occasion at their Montecito residence alongside their two children.

Prince Archie, now seven, and Princess Lilibet, four, are expected to be part of the anniversary celebrations.

The photo release comes shortly after the Duchess of Sussex returned from a visit to Geneva, capping what has been an eventful period for the California-based couple.

The newly released images capture the couple commanding the dance floor during their wedding reception, with one shot showing them locked in a passionate kiss whilst surrounded by well-wishers.

The Duchess of Sussex posted a separate collection featuring intimate moments from the ceremony itself, including a tender exchange between the newlyweds immediately following their vows.

A behind-the-scenes photograph depicting the pair during their official portrait session was also among the shared images.

Some pictures had previously appeared in the couple’s 2022 Netflix documentary, though fresh images were included in the release.

Meghan captioned both posts “Eight years ago today,” acknowledging their “wonderful” photographer Chris Allerton.

The couple’s wedding at Windsor Castle attracted a star-studded guest list that included Oprah Winfrey and Serena Williams.

Throughout the years since their marriage, Harry and Meghan have periodically unveiled additional photographs from the day.

Among previously shared images is a black-and-white shot capturing the pair sharing a laugh together.

Another photograph documented the evening festivities at Frogmore House, where the Duchess of Sussex had changed into a gown designed by Stella McCartney.

The couple subsequently stepped away from their royal roles and relocated to California with their family.

The anniversary celebrations follow a busy start to 2026 for the couple, who travelled to Australia last month for a four-day visit marking their first return since 2018.

During the trip, the former Suits star spoke openly about the difficulties of life in the public eye, describing it as “very hard” at times.

She also reflected on the “amazing moments” since meeting Harry in 2016, including their wedding and becoming parents, whilst acknowledging the intense scrutiny she has faced.
