Mohamed Salah is still sidelined with a minor thigh issue, though Liverpool expect him to return for the final stretch of the campaign.

Alisson Becker has yet to resume full training and continues to be assessed, while Giorgi Mamardashvili is unavailable after sustaining a knee injury.

Arne Slot is due to provide further updates in his Friday press conference.

Chelsea will be without Robert Sanchez and Jesse Derry, who suffered head injuries during Monday’s defeat by Nottingham Forest.

Pedro Neto and Alejandro Garnacho remain doubtful but Levi Colwill and Reece James have both completed a full week of training.

Players out: Liverpool – Bradley, Ekitike, Endo, Leoni, Mamardashvili, Salah

Chelsea – Estevao, Derry, Gittens, Sanchez

Doubts: Liverpool – Isak, Alisson Chelsea – Neto, Garnacho

Key FPL notes:

  • Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo (£7.3m) racked up five shots in Gameweek 35. In the last four Gameweeks, only one midfielder has had more goal attempts than his 14.

  • Moises Caicedo of Chelsea (£5.7m) claimed 10 points in his previous meeting with Liverpool back in Gameweek 7, thanks to one goal and maximum bonus.

  • Chelsea forward Joao Pedro (£7.5m) netted his 15th goal of the season in Gameweek 35, nine of which have come across his last 12 appearances.
