Meghan Markle has playfully suggested she and Prince Harry might consider renewing their wedding vows during a jovial encounter with Australian content creators.

The Duchess of Sussex made the quip while filming with Sean Skeels and Marley Whatarau, the duo behind the popular YouTube channel Get Down with Sean and Marley, during her recent trip to Australia.

The moment came when the pair presented her with swimming briefs as a gift for the Duke of Sussex.

“For the love of my life. We might renew our vows with him wearing these,” Meghan joked.

The video was released on Monday.

The gift-giving session featured a range of thoughtful presents for the Sussexes, with the YouTubers bringing cuddly toys and NRL football jerseys intended for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Meghan also received Minties sweets, which she revealed hold special significance: “My mom’s favourite and they’re my favourite.”

Chicken salt was another offering, designed to enhance her culinary creations.

The connection between the Duchess of Sussex and the Australian pair began after they attempted to recreate “Meghan’s Spaghetti” from her Netflix programme, With Love, Meghan.

Following their cooking effort, Meghan had sent them a thank-you note accompanied by a basket of treats from her lifestyle brand, As Ever.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex got married in May 2018 at Windsor Castle.

“People love you both so much. Your show is amazing because you’re both amazing,” Meghan told them warmly.

She continued: “I’m proud of both of you and I’m so happy and I’m so grateful for all the gifts. You guys keep doing what you’re doing. Your show is awesome and so are you.”

The Get Down with Sean and Marley channel has amassed a following of more than one million subscribers, establishing the best friends as prominent figures in the Australian YouTube community.

The YouTubers were not the only Australians to enjoy time with the Duchess of Sussex during her visit Down Under.

Meghan also appeared as a special guest on the eighteenth series of MasterChef Australia, with the episode broadcasting on Sunday April 19.

Judge Poh Ling Yeow introduced her to the kitchen, declaring: “We’ve had royalty in the MasterChef kitchen before, but no one like this!”

Speaking to 10 News, Poh described the contestants’ astonishment: “They were in total shock; everyone’s jaws were on the ground.”
