Meghan Markle sent a heartwarming present to her close friend after she gave birth.

Kelly McKee Zajfen recently announced the birth of her third child, a baby boy named Jack, who arrived on March 27.

The businesswoman shared the joyful news alongside photographs capturing tender family moments with her husband, Julian Zajfen.

On Wednesday, Mrs McKee Zajfen revealed a thoughtful gesture from Meghan, who sent a delicate arrangement of white roses to mark the occasion.

Posting an image of the blooms displayed in a small silver vase beside her bed, Mrs McKee Zajfen wrote: “Nothing like fresh cut garden roses next to your bedside @meghan.”

The Duchess of Sussex’s floral gift carried particular significance for the new mother.

White roses traditionally symbolise fresh starts and new chapters, making them a fitting choice for celebrating a birth.

The arrival of baby Jack holds deeper emotional resonance for the family. His middle name, Oliver, pays tribute to Mrs McKee Zajfen’s late son Georgie, who shared the same middle name.

Georgie tragically died in 2022 after contracting COVID-19 alongside viral meningitis.

The first name Jack was chosen to honour Mrs McKee Zajfen’s grandfather, adding another layer of familial meaning to the newborn’s identity.

Meghan stood by her friend throughout the devastating loss, offering support during what must have been an extraordinarily difficult period for the family.

The pair’s bond extends through their shared work with the Archewell Foundation, the charitable organisation established by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Last September, Meghan helped organise a tennis tournament to raise funds for children in foster care, held in Georgie’s memory.

Mrs McKee Zajfen described the event as an “incredible day” that was “full of emotions and lots of love,” with proceeds directed towards providing legal protections and resources for young people in the care system.

Expressing her gratitude, Mrs McKee Zajfen praised the foundation’s involvement, stating: “Harry and Meghan, you have been such a guiding light for our family not just in the way you have shown up in friendship but how you have shown up through the incredible work the Archewell Foundation does every day.”
