Castleford Tigers have signed Wigan Warriors forward George Hirst on a one-month loan deal.

The 24-year-old Welshman joined the Warriors from Oldham on a two-year deal in 2024 but spent the majority of last season back on loan with the Championship side.

Cas started the new Super League season with a 26-16 home defeat by Wigan on Sunday.

Hirst could now make his debut for the Tigers in Saturday’s trip to Toulouse.
