King Charles and Queen Camilla will be supported by the Duchess of Edinburgh at a major royal event next week.

St James’s Palace will welcome approximately 350 local government employees next Tuesday when the King and Queen host a special reception in their honour.

The event on February 3rd will see Their Majesties joined by the Duchess of Edinburgh, alongside the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, to celebrate those working in regional and local authorities across the United Kingdom.

Attendees will represent the breadth of public service delivery, from social workers and those leading efforts to tackle violence against women and girls, through to headteachers, public health professionals and coordinators of disability services.

The gathering recognises local government as a fundamental component of British democracy, with these workers providing essential services that directly affect citizens’ everyday lives across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

On Wednesday, King Charles, Queen Camilla and the Duchess of Edinburgh attended the premiere of the monarch’s documentary Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision.

The screening was held at Windsor Castle in Berkshire, with several stars joining the royals for the production.

Kate Winslet, who narrates the documentary, posed for the camera, as did Beneditch Cumberbatch alongside his wife Sophie Hunter.

Dame Judi Dench, Alan Titchmarsh and Sir Rod Stewart were also in attendance for the production’s premiere.

Other celebrities who journeyed to Windsor included Formula One star Sebastian Vettel and actor Sir Kenneth Branagh.

The documentary, set to be released on Prime Video next month, focuses on the King’s environmental campaign, despite years of fierce criticism.

A spokesman for the King said the film was “not a conventional royal documentary”.

A spokesman for the King said the film was “not a conventional royal documentary”.

“There are no golden carriages here; no glittering crowns or crimson robes.

“Instead, this is a deeply personal exploration of ideas that have shaped His Majesty’s life and work: the interconnectedness of all things, the wisdom of traditional knowledge, and the belief that we can build a future that works in partnership with nature rather than against it,” the spokesman said.
