The business owner who banned Labour MPs has slammed Rachel Reeves’ Budget in a damning tirade on GB News.

Salon owners are furious with the Chancellor after Ms Reeves promised to slash bills for smaller businesses by slapping taxes on their larger counterparts to “level the playing field between the high street and online giants”.

However, they have argued she has failed to live up to her promise.

Collette Osborne, who runs two Hairven salons in Nottinghamshire, has decorated her salons with a “No Labour MPs” sign in retaliation against Labour.

Speaking to the channel’s Charlie Peters, she said: “There’s no other way to actually get Labour to listen to our sector. They won’t listen.

“I actually met the Chancellor myself pre-election in 2024. Rachel, to my face actually promised me that she would do something, that she would back business.

“I voted Labour because I believed what she told me, such a senior politician giving me her absolute assurances.

“What a mistake that was!”
