GoogleA 78-year-old man who was rescued from a bungalow fire has died, police have said.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said officers were called to reports of a blaze at a property on Lorton Grove, Bolton, at about 15:10 GMT on Friday.
Emergency services attended and the man was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries, a spokesperson said.
The fire was not believed to be suspicious and inquiries were ongoing, they added.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said three fire crews from Bolton and Farnworth fire stations were called to the fire at the terraced bungalow shortly before 15:00 GMT on Friday.
