One of the most popular car brands in the world has unveiled massive savings for its headline electric vehicle.

Honda has enhanced its EV Grant offering, allowing drivers to save up to £8,750 off the price of its e:Ny1 electric SUV.

The offer is valid from the start of December until February 28, 2026, and could see motorists save up to £8,740 and benefit from 0 per cent APR.

This is made up from a £5,000 Honda Deposit Contribution and the £3,750 Honda EV Grant. This offer is available for both the Advance and Elegance variants.

The Honda e:Ny1 has an impressive 256-mile battery range, and rapid-charging capabilities, taking the vehicle from 10 per cent battery to 80 per cent in just 45 minutes.

Drivers will also benefit from Honda SENSING capabilities, which include a “comprehensive suite of safety and driver-assist technologies”.

Any e:Ny1 purchased during the sales event will also receive a two-year extended guarantee, roadside assistance, and the first five scheduled services at a Honda retailer will be free.

Ian Austerberry, Commercial Planning and Development Department Manager at Honda Motor Europe (UK), said: “Honda is committed to supporting the transition to electric driving.

“By enhancing our retail offer, we’re making the e:Ny1 even more compelling for customers who want to embrace fully electric mobility with confidence and peace of mind.”

Customers can drive away the Honda e:Ny1 Elegance for just £399 per month, or £419 per month for the Advance, with both being eligible for 0 per cent APR Representative.

The Honda EV Grant is completely separate from the Government’s Electric Car Grant, which also helps drivers save as much as £3,750 off the price of a new EV.

The offer allows motorists to save either £1,500 or £3,750 off the price of a new electric vehicle with a list price of £37,000 or less.

Chancellor Rachel Reeves recently upgraded the terms of the Grant and EV charging infrastructure in the Autumn Budget at the end of the month in a pledge that totalled £1.5billion.

An additional £1.3billion has been added to the Electric Car Grant, taking the total to almost £2billion, while £200million has been earmarked for EV charging infrastructure.

There are more than 40 models available for the Grant from some of the most popular brands in the UK, including Ford, Volkswagen, Renault, Nissan, Mini and more.
